Take a test for follicle-stimulating hormone (follitropin, fsh) in Kyiv, Med-Help clinic
To take a follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) test at the Med-Help clinic, you must contact the clinic’s laboratory. No prior appointment is required for the test.
The follicle-stimulating hormone test is one of the key tests in examining the reproductive system in women and men. The FSH level in the blood increases with ovarian dysfunction in women and deterioration of sperm quality in men. Determination of the FSH level is usually carried out as part of an infertility examination or with menstrual cycle disorders.
Before taking the test, you must avoid eating food for 10-12 hours before and on the day of the test. You must also follow your doctor’s recommendations regarding taking medications and stop smoking 2-3 hours before taking the test.
