General conditions for the “Antivirus” insurance program

Anyone can buy a pneumonia insurance policy in Kyiv, starting from the age of 1 to 59 years (on the date of execution of the Insurance Contract).

The client selects the conditions independently:

1. The insurance amount is at the insured person’s choice (thousand hryvnia) – 25, 50, 100, 200. This is the monetary amount that the company pays upon the occurrence of an insured event.
2. The period of validity of the contractual agreement (insurance coverage) is three months or six months.

The contract for insurance against any type of pneumonia comes into force two weeks after the policy is issued.

The insurance amounts and the amount of insurance coverage in the event of an insured event depend on the period of validity of the “Contract” and the age of the person who issues the policy.

Pneumonia insurance in Kyiv. What are the restrictions?

There are certain restrictions under the “antivirus” program, that is, insurance is not issued if:

• a deliberate crime, suicide, or attempted suicide was committed;
• the person was driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol;
• actions or inactions were committed in a state of intoxication or intoxication with any substances (alcohol, toxic, narcotic);
• the person is undergoing treatment in a day hospital;
• the insured person took part in terrorist acts, in military operations, there are military risks;
• a person participates in sports activities where there is a risk of injury/mutilation;
• other cases that are not directly related to the insured person (natural disasters, nuclear explosions, radiation).

There are other reasons when coverage for bacterial pneumonia insurance in Kyiv is not paid:

• if the insured person or the beneficiary committed deliberate actions to cause the occurrence of an “insured event”;
• the person provided false information about the causes/circumstances of the disease;
• if the notification of the occurrence of an “insured event” was received late (untimely).

Who is not eligible to take out insurance?

There is a list of people who cannot buy a pneumonia insurance policy:

1. Persons who are over 59 years of age.
2. Employees of medical institutions.
3. Patients with serious health problems (alcohol addicts, drug addicts, substance abusers, with injuries, with diabetes, with epilepsy, with mental pathologies, with AIDS and HIV, with tuberculosis, with oncological diseases).
4. Persons who are registered or undergoing treatment in drug treatment centers.

Procedure to follow when an “insured event” occurs

In the event of illness, the insured person must perform a number of specific actions:

1. Report illness by phone within 3 working days. In case of hospitalization, 30 days are given. This can be done by relatives, family members or the insured person. The application is submitted by the person who signed the insurance contract or his relatives.
2. The applicant collects the necessary documentation (our employee provides the list of documents).
3. The submitted application is reviewed within 15 working days after the submission of the full package of documents. After that, a positive or negative verdict is issued.
4. Insurance coverage (risk payment) is made within 10 days after a positive decision is made. Heirs receive compensation after proving their rights to inherit.
