Ukrainian legislation requires representatives of certain professions to have a valid certificate from a narcologist. Security guards, fitters, high-rise workers, law enforcement officials and drivers are required to have a narcologist certificate with them.
This document is a guarantee of a stable, balanced state of a person. A complete list of specialties and types of qualifications that require regular primary and periodic professional examinations is presented in detail in Instruction No. 339 of 11/28/97 on mandatory preventive narcological examination and the procedure for conducting it.
A certificate from a narcologist is issued at any private medical institution or at the place of permanent residence.
A certificate from a narcologist includes the following mandatory examinations:
- general examination by a narcologist;
When issuing a certificate, the patient is checked against the databases of drug treatment institutions.
The results of the completed drug treatment examination are entered by the drug treatment doctor into a special medical record, which is called a certificate (form 140/o).
