There are many reasons why you will need to take a drug test. The reasons for drug tests can be very diverse – some types of legal proceedings, employment abroad, other professional activities. Med-help+ is a modern medical center that will help solve this problem. We have extensive experience in issuing medical certificates, so the procedure itself will not take you much time.
Recommendations for undergoing diagnostics
To obtain reliable information on the confirmation or refutation of the fact of drug use, the patient’s urine is used as the test material. This biological substance has several advantages:
- The process of collecting urine for drug testing is simple and does not require any special conditions. Also, the urine collection algorithm does not cause difficulties for patients.
- If the first test result is invalid, there is often enough fluid in the body to perform a repeat test.
- Urine is a means of removing harmful substances from the body, therefore it always contains a high concentration of drugs in the case of their use for a period of up to 3-7 days for opiates and stimulants and up to 21 days for cannabinoids and their derivatives.
Urine should be collected only in dry and clean containers. The analysis requires 50-100 ml of liquid. A special container with a lid is used for this, which can be purchased at a pharmacy. It is advisable to immediately deliver the collected material to the laboratory, and if this is not possible, store the container in the refrigerator for no more than 3 days.
Laboratory diagnostics
In the course of work at the Med-help+ medical center, high-tech equipment is used, which allows for urine analysis for drugs using two independent methods.
- Immunochromatographic analysis allows identification of up to 14 types of drugs with opioid, stimulant or toxic effects based on rapid testing.
- Chemical-toxicological analysis is an accurate method of laboratory diagnostics that allows identifying all known psychotropic and narcotic substances even taking into account a small concentration in a biological fluid.
You will receive the test results on the day you contact the center.
